Delivery Terms


Understanding our production and delivery times

We understand that getting your items quickly is important to you, so we make every effort to process your order quickly.

To make the product more affordable and avoid keeping high stock level, we do not keep products in specific lacquer color and lacquer pattern in stock. Instead, we keep semi-finished products in stock, with 80% of the lacquering already done. A semi-fiished lacquer product is ready to undergo the last steps of the production process, the coating of colored layers and patterns, which takes 5 to 10 days.

When the product in semi-finished format is availble in stock, you are able to add it to your cart and purchase it online. Our standard delivery time would then be 15 to 30 days, with the following breakdown:

  1. Production lead-time of 5-10 days to finish your order to the specified lacquer color and pattern
  2. Transporation time of 7 to 20 days depending on your country of delivery

We will do our best to provide you with accurate deiivery times (shipping and production times), but please note that these are estimates only. Delivery time estimates are not a guarantee.

In conclusion, after we receive your payment, delivery takes from 15 to 30 days depending on where you live and on the lacquer colors and patterns for your product.


Bulky products

Bulky products such as floor lamps and certain pieces of furniture (cabinets, tables, consoles, etc.) cannot be shipped using our standard shipping method, that is only suited for "light and not bulky" products like Home Décor Accessories and Table Lamps. The bulky products a special quotation that takes into account special shipping charges.

You will not be able to order directly bulky products via Mai Home e-Shop as the button "add to cart" will not be functioning. Instead, we kindly ask you to make an enquiry via the website by clicking “Make an Enquiry” button. We will then process your enquiry quickly via email, outside of Mai Home e-shop and provide you a quote including price, estimated delivery time and freight charges.


Out of Stock Items

While we make every effort to keep the listed merchandise in its semi-finished format in stock ready for the last steps of the lacquering process and have the semi-finished stock updated at all times, occasionally we could be actually sold out of certain items due to a sudden surge in demand that would trigger an out-of-stock situation before the stock is updated.

If we are out of stock on an item you have ordered, we will send you an e-mail update as quickly as possible informing you about the likely delivery time. It might take about 15 more days to manufacture the product from the start.


Standard shipping charges

Standard shipping is done by airfreight from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where Mai Home factory is located.

Shipping and processing charges for all items ordered and paid through our e-shop are based on the product size, weight, delivery destination, or other factors. The charges are calculated directly by the website calculator and added to the product price shown on the product page.

We're sorry, but we are unable to ship to PO Box address.

Shipping quotes do not include customs charges, duties, dock fees, brokerage fees or any other internationally related charges.


Tracking Your Order

You will provide a number to track your order shipped by our forwarder so that you can track the status of your shipment.

You can track your order via the carrier's shipping tracking system. Your shipping confirmation e-mail will contain a shipping tracking number for your use. Please note that it may take up to twenty-four hours from the time an item is shipped to the time information is available for viewing on the carrier's website.

Not Getting Your Items?

When trying to estimate when a package will be delivered, you should consider the following:

  1. Credit card approval must be received prior to processing
  2. Ground delivery only occurs during business hours, Monday - Friday excluding holidays
